Rebuilding Lives with your Donations
Starter Packs Glasgow have been supporting individuals & families across Glasgow for over 24 years. We provide over 60 items in our packs such as crockery, kettle, toaster, pots, pans, bedding, towels, toiletries and cleaning products. They are available by referral to anybody experiencing poverty, often after being homeless, fleeing domestic situations, moving on from the forces, prison or care. Our packs empower people to build a new life with dignity, ease their financial burden & promote re-use.
STARER PACKS
Alleviating poverty, breaking the cycle of homelessness and supporting vulnerable people across Glasgow since 2000.
In 2024-25, we delivered 1559 starter packs of essential items to households across Glasgow. Supporting 2488 people (1483 adults and 645 children) settle into their new homes in our communites.
We couldn't do this without your support, so thank you for helping us to make a huge difference to the people starting over in the city.
STARTER PACKS
WHAT GOES INTO A STARTER PACK?
Duvet, pillows, covers, sheets, pillowcases and blankets. Kettle, toaster, a minimum of 4-place settings of crockery, cutlery, mugs, glasses, kitchen utensils, pots, pans and oven dishes. Tea towels and cloths. Storage containers. Bath towels, toiletries and cleaning products.
